500g Young Jak
100g Red Onion
100g Green Chili
50g Dried Sparrots Washed And Fried In Oil
01 cup Vegetable Oil
10g Mustard Seeds Blend With Vinegar
01 Tsp Sugar
1/2 Tsp Crushed Pepper
03 Tsp Mango Chutney
1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder
05g Goraka
10g Garlic
03g Curry Leaves
03g Rampe
03g Lemongrass
10g Salt
02 nos Cardamom
02 nos Cloves


  1. Boil the jack with garcinia (goraka), salt and turmeric powder without over boiling
  2. Cut the jack into 01 inch pieces
  3. Heat the oil and add curry leaves, pandanus (rampe), lemongrass, onion, garlic & cook for 03 minutes
  4. And add Fried Sparrots, Green Chili, Crushed Pepper, Sugar And Mango Chutney
  5. Then add boiled young jack and cook for 20 minutes
  6. Finally add mustard cream
  7. Mix all together and let it rest for one day


  • Always keep the dried sprats in warm water for 10 minutes to remove the sand
  • Soak the mustard seeds in vinegar and grind; otherwise it will give a bitter taste
