Christmas Gala at Sigiriya Jungles

A good year needs a good wrap, and the festive season needs a grand start!

 

Christmas Gala at Sigiriya Jungles is a dazzling annual event featuring dance, dinner, gifts, games, and loads of fun. This Christmas Eve party (24th December 2025) is scheduled to begin at 5.30 PM and last until 11.30 PM or 12 AM.

 

Event Activities

The Gala will be lit with exuberant dance competitions, interesting lucky draw games, best couple prize, best dancing couple prize, and more, alongside live DJ music. Adding a touch of grace to the event, the choir team from Our Lady of Good Health (Habarana) Church will welcome baby Jesus with soulful Christmas carols. To avoid disturbing or scaring the wildlife in the surrounding jungles, fireworks will be strictly avoided.

 

Santa’s Gifts

The peak energy moment would be the arrival of Santa Claus, who will be entertaining kids with candies, sweets, and gifts. For each in-house guest, Chef’s special rich cake piece will be sent as a gift to their rooms.

 

Christmas Gala Dinner

The Sigiriya Jungles Gala dinner will begin with a Chefs’ Parade, where all the chefs of the resort will line up, open the buffet, introduce the cuisine, the signature dishes, and invite everyone to enjoy the dinner. The floor will also be open for dances at the same time. While the resort features multiple restaurants, this event is hosted by Lakshmi restaurant, which holds a capacity for 150 guests. Depending on the weather, outdoor tables will also be arranged for open dining.
