On 7 June 2026, the team at Sigiriya Jungles Resort & Spa came together for a successful “No Plastic” Shramadana Campaign, cleaning the roadside stretch from the resort to Audangawa Junction.

Staff members from all departments participated in the initiative, joining forces to collect plastic waste and other litter along the route. The campaign reflected the team’s shared commitment to maintaining a cleaner and healthier environment for both the local community and visitors to the area.
