Why Visit During the Gathering Season?
The Minneriya Elephant Gathering is considered one of Asia’s most remarkable wildlife spectacles. During the dry season, large herds of elephants migrate to the Minneriya reservoir in search of water and fresh grass, creating a unique opportunity for visitors to observe these gentle giants in their natural habitat.

- In the event you do not utilize your reservation (no-show), there will be no refund granted
- Free cancellation is available up to 14 days prior to the arrival date.
- All children should be included in the reservation process and age should be proved on request.
- Triple room consists of a double or twin bed and one built-in bed (a sofa converter)
- Kindly note that driver accommodation could be arranged at a cost of Rs. 2000 (1st person) per day with meals.
- Bites, Beer, and soft drinks are to be purchased from the hotel.
- Consuming liquor in public area is subject to a Corkage fee of Rs. 3,500 for local liquor and Rs. 6,000 for foreign liquor. (Please note that consumption of alcohol is not allowed in public areas during official and religious holidays.)
- For food served at the "Jungle Breeze Restaurant," there will be an additional charge of Rs. 3,000/- each meal. (Not applicable for meals served in the main restaurant.)
